|
| Living The Principles will accept applications from women, newly sober, who have evidence of participation in a program of recovery such as: Residential Treatment, IOP, and/or recovery programs. Stepping Stones and Palmer House Recovery Homes offer Monitored and Structured Environments. The family members must be working a 12 step recovery program. The members will become fully self-supporting, and will be assisted in obtaining job skills and looking for employment. Each member enjoys learning new skills through the “A Design for Living LifeSkills Program”. Women are additionally offered assistance in transportation to meetings, obtaining a sponsor and committing to a Home Group. BONUS: A POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW!!!!! Living The Principles wants to support women through and into their first year of sobriety, as most relapses tend to occur up to and around the 1 year mark. As an added incentive and to support women in transitioning to independent living, Living The Principles will assist them in qualifying for a partner housing program that provides HUD funds for permanent housing costing only 30% of their income. |
